Anna Silk

Anna Silk was born in the month of January in 1974. Her most well-known role is Bo, from Showcase's Lost Girl television series. Silk was created in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk as well as Peter Silk both were academics. Ilkay was also a writer, director and producer. Silk is the director of drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna has some of her most fond memories of watching TV and going to rehearsals for plays. Silk was a small model in a commercial. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Arts at St. Thomas University in 1997. Her early theater experience includes at least two productions with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk moved to Toronto Canada in the fall of 1999 in order to pursue her acting. Then she moved into Los Angeles California during the following decade. Seth Cooperman met Silk at an acting workshop in Los Angeles, in 2007. When she got engaged in 2008, the couple got married in 2009. On April 10 2011 they renew their vows during an Jewish ceremony in Fredericton following her conversion to Judaism. Silk was blessed with an infant son named Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron was her second born child on the 13th of May 2016. Silk is known for her television role in the role of Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009 she was nominated by her fellow actors for Gemini Awards. The Canadian drama Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character from the succubus. Silk revealed to fans the joyous announcement that she became pregnant on the set of season 3. The show was a pre-show exclusive to promote Season Three. This was presented by Showcase in an exclusive Season Three show held January 6th, 2013 prior to the premiere. Silk tweeted on June 20, 2013 that she's ready to go back to work. On June 4, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially announced the beginning of the production for the fourth season. The CNN Cable News Network named her portrayal of Bo as well as Lauren (Zoie Parker) on Lost Girl as same-sex couples one of their all-time favorite TV Couples. E! named them as the most popular Television Couple in 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk is a huge online fan base on Facebook and Twitter, as a direct consequence of its popularity.
